2003 AHS Golf Team

Pacific League Champs 15th Year in A Row!!! Western Regional CIF Champs!!!

The Varsity squad gave an outstanding performance last week winning the Pacific League for the 15 season in a row! Kyle George won the League Championship and Jonathan Lai was Runner up. Both these young men will be traveling to the CIF Individual Championship on 5/20 at Sterling Hills G.C.. Additionally Alex Shin placed 4th and Aaron Edwards (only a Soph) placed 6th in league. The squad moved onto the CIF Western Regional Championships at L.A. Royal Vista on Monday 5/12. The boys pulled off a TREMENDOUS Victory shooting as a team 355 even par to Win the Western Regionals. We also had two boys shoot under par Kyle George 68 (3 under par) Luis Espinoza 70 (1 under par), Kenny Lu 71, Jonathan Lai 72, Aaron Edwards 74 and Alex Shin 84. If it wasn't for the additional contributions from the following young men, this years league championship would not have been achieved; Sam Tu, Tim Schowe, Henry Huang, Chris Brown and Jackie Guo.. I'm extremely proud of the entire team for their efforts this season!!!
